Gallo Out Two to Three Weeks

He got hurt in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 98-92 win over the Pacers when Indiana's Brandon Rush crashed into the side of his knee. Mike D'Antoni said Gallinari was able to walk at the practice facility in Greenburgh Monday, and that the injury was "just sore." After the MRI, the Knicks decided on a more cautious approach.
An MRI Monday afternoon confirmed that Gallinari has a mildly sprained left knee; he's expected to be out 2-3 weeks, the team announced.

"We're pretty successful with Ronny starting," D'Antoni said. "It gives us a chance to experiment a little bit."
