Tracy McGrady didn't see it happening. [McGrady] never believed LeBron James would sign with the Knicks because "it just wasn't the right situation for him." McGrady, who made his Pistons debut Wednesday night against the Nets in Newark, added that the Knicks didn't have enough talent on their roster to justify LeBron leaving Cleveland for New York. "He would have been in a situation where he would have been back in Cleveland," McGrady told The Daily News. "That's what I felt like."
