Carmelo Anthony left open the possibility of re-signing with Denver -- something that has not come out of his mouth recently.
With the Nuggets visiting Chicago yesterday, Anthony was asked if he saw a chance of re-signing with the Nuggets if they have success this season. Denver is 4-2.
"Sure, I mean, why not," he said. "I don't see why not."
There's been a growing sentiment the Nuggets will take their chances, keep Anthony at the trade deadline and hope he either signs a contract extension in June or get assets through a sign-and-trade with the Knicks in July.
