Knicks-Bucks Connections

Here are some connections between the Knicks and Bucks...



  • Bucks head coach Scott Skiles served as the head coach of the Chicago Bulls from 2003-04 -2007-08. During that time he coached Roger Mason (2003-04) and Eddy Curry (2003-04 – 2004-05).


  • Bucks assistant Jim Boylan was an assistant in Chicago for the final four of Skiles’ five seasons.


  • Skiles played for Donnie Walsh’s Indiana Pacers for two seasons (1987-89), averaging 5.9 points in 131 games. He was a teammate of Herb Williams for those two seasons.


  • Phil Weber served as an assistant under Scott Skiles for two seasons in Phoenix (1999-2000 – 2000-01).


  • Michael Redd played under Mike D’Antoni on the gold medal winning U.S National Basketball Team in 2008.


  • Raymond Felton and Bucks guard Earl Boykins played together in Charlotte for part of the 2007-08 season after Boykins was signed by the Bobcats in January.


  • Roger Mason and Bucks power forward Drew Gooden played together for the end of the 2009 season for the Spurs – Gooden was signed by the Spurs on March 5th.
